PEEP (Pelangi Environmental & Educational Program) is a local community outreach program that our school is proud to be able to continue to offer to young children in our surrounding area. You can find out more about PEEPS.

Recently some of our PEEPs students have reflected on their experience of the program, using the English language skills they have been developing each week. Here is what they have to say about their participation in PEEP:

‘I like to know how to speak English and also the teachers take such care with me. In school I meet so many new friends and get so many ideas. In our school we not only learn to write, my teacher gives me songs, dance and yoga.  I’m so happy to be at Pelangi School.’

‘I want to learn English language well.  I like to learn at PEEP because it’s a lot of fun.  I love learning English there and I also get to do yoga and a dancing program.  I’ve got a lot of new friends.  This has helped me to have a new experience.’

‘I love all the teachers there because they are very kind and friendly.  At Pelangi School I made new friends. I am allowed to read books in the library. What’s also fun, is that I was taught yoga and dancing. Thank you Pelangi School for inviting me to study together there’. We would like to take this opportunity give thanks and appreciation to all the volunteer teachers and donations given to support PEEP.  It is through this help that we have been able to sustain the PEEP program for a number of years and hopefully into the future.
